From a purely practical viewpoint, if your doughnut shape is a solid torus and is made of sufficiently malleable material you can just hammer it until the hole in the middle closes then keep bashing away until you have changed the shape to a sphere. If your doughnut shape is a hollow lump (like a jam doughnut) then it's much trickier but if its made of a metal with a reasonably low melting point you might be able to strongly charge the doughnut inside an evacuated spherical mold then almost melt it and have it deform without puncturing the shell.

ACTUALLY, recently a russian mathmetician discovered the formula which allows a doughnut shaped object to become a sphere without ripping it. I dont remember his name though. I swear, it was on the front page of yahoo a while back, he was an ugly mo-fo though.

You can't. A torus (to use the technical term for doughnut ☺) isn't a 'simply connected' surface (that is to say, there exists at least one closed loop on its surface that cannot be contracted to a point without leaving the surface) while a sphere *is* simply connected.

Why are the writers consistently stated as "Sheepherders " via you agnostics?Isaiah became a especially knowledgeable member of the royal family contributors.asserting "that's He that sits above the circle of the earth"...is unquestionably asserting it became around .additionally stated is "God shaped the earth and hung it upon no longer something". This became at a time whilst the Greeks stated Atlas held up the earth and the Hindus claimed a stack of elephants did.The Bible is the sole e book of the time that known the constellations and their movements besides using fact the trend of the winds. i be attentive to you attempt to play upon human beings's lack of awareness of the Bible ,despite the fact that that's a vulnerable case.Even the super Pyramid of Giza (outfitted via the family contributors of Enoch) shows in case you degree the backside(the two component curves inward like a slice of the earth, placed them mutually and you get a globe)that's in Pyramid inches the spectacular length of the earth.the understanding of a around (it extremely is elementary to be certain no longer purely on the fazes of the moon yet on a mountain suitable scanning the horizon)earth became certainly familiar .merely using fact some cult of the Catholic church disagreed ,did no longer propose maximum societies hadn't familiar it.

there always going to be a hole in the sphere. you can always offset the point of hole and hole size but its alway going to be a doughtnut.
