even in very morally strict communities, there is nothing wrong with a girl 'showing' she likes/fancies a boy,as long as you don't humialiate yourself by asking him outrightly to be your boyfriend. Shine regular little smiles his way and show interest in his conversation & that may just do the trick.Best wishes.

Well, playing hard to get certainly won't work. It might work in the movies, but the truth is, usually us boys will just get confused and board, and look elsewhere. By far the best idea is to be direct. 'Carding' is an ever increasing trick on the tube in London. If you see a guy you like, you write your number on a piece of paper and a short message like "call me!" and give it to him as the doors open, just before bolting. then if he's not as keen, you don't have to hear it face to face. If he is...who knows. If you know him a little better, you can still make it work for you. just get a business card printed up with all sorts of girly pictures on it and show him how proud you are of it, letting him keep one at the end, leaving with a flirtatious "so now you've got my number...call me!" he'll probably be very flattered.

Just ask him out. He'll probably be well chuffed. If he doesn't like you he'll tell you. No big deal. Playing hard to get is a bit silly really, nobody gets anything out of it. That aloof kind of 'treat em mean' rubbish is schoolyard stuff. Just act like a sensible human being and if he's not a right ********, he will too.

Stop playing hard to get and start flirting with him. Make eye contact. Laugh at his jokes. Gently touch his arm as you talk. When you walk away from him look back and smile. If he flirts back then ask him out. But if he backs off then stop flirting and DONT ask him out.
PS If he flirts with you but you're too shy to ask him out get a friend to do it. Good luck x I know you'll get him!

When you are 14, this seems like a major life-threatening embarassing thing to do.
When you get older, you realise that the best thing to do is just go and ask him.
Stop messing about with "what ifs?" and go and get what you want. He will be flattered.

best advice would be quit playin about and get some work done. ask him out. face to face, through a letter, phone call. if he really likes u then hed obviously say yer. but dnt ask him in front of his or ur m8s coz they and him might think that its just a joke and that you're pullin his leg. who knows hes probs dyin to ask u out just doesnt seem to no how to start it off. o n gd luck.

Simply go talk to him. I know its hard to do, but go say hay just wondering what you were doing, would you like to go for a walk, then talk to him let it all out.
