If you truly believe that, then take it one more step. Change the illusion and see what happens. I did.

I see history as a huge lesson we should be using to learn from. History is as real as today, but gone. Today is very real but holds a lot of illusions for the future.
I think the lesson of past is to become wiser for tomorrow and history is part of the lesson to learn from for tomorrow yet so many are living in the world of illusion it blinds them with ignorance so no lessons are being learned for the sake of peace, for the sake of humanity.

How long will it take to learn that peace can only be discovered in Love, not war. Global war, war among neighbours and even war with oneself...

you are right but wrong as well history cannot be 100% accurate because it is written by the winners so we have (especially when you go a while back like 500, 1000.... years ago) only one side of the story which was most likely written to make the winner side more glorious.
how ever even if the story has been modified the main fact remains alexander the great did conquer loads of lands, europe did destroy american indians civilisation, there was a civil war in the us....
so it's basically all about making the difference between facts and the rest

So you're saying you have no past? Then how did you get here?

Otherwise, the other alternative is that you are choosing to re-write your history. But you can't make the world more real by submerging yourself in fantasy.
