If u r being funny ......after u say france....the first word comes in my mind is also the FRANCE....
Otherwise,
If it is about an image coming in mind....it comes the geographic location and map of france....
In my classroom, as I am a student of history, the image of Nepolian comes to my mind after u say France..
If I am in running and if u say France...Mr. Zidane comes in my mind.
But in comfortable conversation.....the Paris comes in my mind after the word France...
