I have been wondering this for a long time. Could someone just suffer from very limited but still discernable feelings? Feeling guilt every once in a great while but often times behaving without regard for his fellow friends and supposed loved ones?

Yeah, man, I know what you mean. Sometimes I wonder If I'm sociopathic, or if people that get very emotional are just lying to themselves, or if they make themselves "feel" these things because they have been told they're supposed to. Really, though, sociopathy is a form of psychopathy, and I think the defining thing about a psychopath is that he hurts others to better himself and doesn't show any remorse. I don't know about you, but my lack of emotion has more to do with everyday occurrences, and I still treat people with respect. Check out the article below, it has a good definition of sociopathy.

I don't think so. How about Bi-polar? They can show no regard for anyone's feelings at times and not others. They also get confused sometimes have a hard time articulating themselves and organizing thoughts. How does that sound?
