There are times where i feel that my center of gravity is very good and i feel like im lower to the ground, and my feet move quicker. I play basketball and there are days when i feel so much more stable and feel alot quicker and everything just feels right. Then there are days where i feel like i have a bounce to my step and its hard to get low to the ground and everything becomes much more harder to do, i feel much slower and my leaping ability is far less. Can anyone explain this? and what can i do to prevent this "hop" in my step

Changes in air pressure. If the local atmospheric pressure goes up, say overnight, when you get up in the morning, you will have slightly more buoyancy than you had the previous night when you went to bed.

Essentially, you are in a fluid when you are in the atmosphere. Every fluid gives some force upward to any body which is submerged in it (Archimedes' Principle). Since air isn't very dense, the force it provides to you is very small, but if the pressure goes up, so does the density very slightly, and the air pushes you up a little stronger than before. It is therefore very slightly easier to carry your own weight around. It's barely noticeable though and you'd need a large change in pressure for it to have any effect. In addition, when the pressure goes up, so does the partial pressure of the oxygen in the air, and you get a tiny bit more oxygen for the same effort in breathing, which gives you a little more energy.

This sounds like a load, I know, but it's documented.

It depends on how much energy you have. If I am REALLY tired and I could fall asleep instanly than walking feels more labored than normal, or any physical activity for that matter. Or if you are really hyper, got alot of energy, clear mind, than everything will feel fine and dandy. Its a mixture of both mental and physical awareness.

I can only guess that the only way one can recognize what feels good is to experience what feels bad.
