Amsoil is an excellent lubricant. I read some independent labratory ratings of several oils and Amsoil is the best at protecting metal surfaces. Try the website

Pennzoil, Quaker State, and probably all the major oil company's have a line of synthetic motor oil. And its a good idea to use a brand that is readily available. A lot of people swear by Amsoil but I have never seen it at an auto parts store. I guess you have to send off for it. I have used Mobil1 myself for 18 years not only because I like the oil but because its widely available.

you can use any oil of 5w 25 or 30 or 40 the more expensive the oil the longer lasting it is so if you use cheap oil replace oil every 3500 mls 5000kms and filter 6000mls of 10000km if expensive of 6000mls or 10000 kms ok

Silkolene do a 5w-40 fully synthetic engine oil called Pro-S. You can get it mail order from a comapny called opie oils. I have used it in two of my cars and have been very impressed. Not only is it good oil, it is also a good price.
