If you purposefully hurt yourself then yes but if you are hurt in an accident, by law they CANNOT under no circumstances fire you because of it. You can sue that company if they do that because you are protected under the EOE or Equal Opportunity Laws and other state and federal laws set up to treat you fairly in these situations.

I don't think so, but if you are back at work, they will probably watch you like a hawk and try to get rid of you for another reason.
