How do you shave "down there" on a regular basis without irriration? I have tried using only the best razors and shave gels, etc, but I still experience razor burn and bumps, and broken, red skin if I shave too often. I have tried gently exfoliating to lift the hairs and get rid of dead skin, but still... I have to wait til the hair is at least 1/2 inch long before I can shave again. I'm not concerned about having it ALL shaved on a regular basis, but I do like to keep the sides tidy and such. any pointers, or is my skin just too sensitive?

its prob best to get them waxed or use a hair removal cream for that area. when using a razor the hair always comes back hard. the other two ways makes it softer and less irritation.
i know someone who said some girls tweeze them out but that sounds like a bit too much pain for my liking.

Try hair removing products like Nair.
I'll bet the blades get dull while you're shaving and that's what's causing the irritation. Pubic hair is more coarse than leg hair and it'll dull the blades quickly. Maybe change blades about half way through or when you feel it start 'pulling' rather than 'cutting'.
For the bikini line you can shave, for the rest try getting a beard trimmer and set it to the lowest setting. You'll have a short and controlled look rather than the 'wild' look.

Make sure the blade in the razor is sharp, use a new one each time for that area. Also Apply lotion or an antibitotic ointment after shaving. It cuts down on the irritation and helps prevent shaving bumps.

Some one mentioned nair Only use nair for your bikini line, Definately don't use it near your vaginal opening, it says it right on the back of the box. You can try using a product called tend skin or bikini zone. You can find tend skin online and bikini zone at any drug store. They both help with razors bumps. Good luck
