KVM switch will get you what it says - one Keyboard, Monitor, and mouse shared between 2 computers. Also most new ones add sound. (I use this all the time with home PC and my laptop...)

Your original question indicates 'peripherals'. You would have to be carefull here - most KVM do not do printers, scanners, etc. New KVM switches may have a USB hub - this should help. Also - some have printer support - you should figure out what you need then look for the best switch.

(BTW - if you have a router for broadband then some newer models have print servers - this would be the best for printer support)

Cheers
