It never ever worked, right form the moment I bought it brand new, but i was too busy with new baby and stuff totake it back and now its too late. The problem is that I put the powder in the drawer but it's still there when the wash is done, is there any way for me to fix this?
For the past year I hva been using liquid soap and it works perfectly well but its just annoying not knowing whats wrong with the drawer

Is it in the correct compartment.

Perhaps your water pressure is too low....or the tap on the connector is not fully on.

Pull the drawer right out......wash it in a bowl of hot water.....make sure that every hole that is in the drawer is free from gunk then get down eye level to the hole that the drawer sits in and check out for any blockages....or even better....turn on the washing machine as normal set it to wash and see where the water comes from and where it goes to......if it flows freely....no blockage...but it will show clearly what compartment should have the powder in....

Have you tried taking the drawer out and looking in the back? There could be some obstacle there. The liquid detergent will just spill into the machine. Sometimes my fabric conditioner drawer fills up with water and it usually helps when I pull the drawer out and have a good hoke in behind. Bit of a pain though.

Incidently, what brand is the washing machine? I ask as I need to get a new one soon and might avoid the same make.

That happens to mine, too. I always figured it was the powder, not the drawer. Try changing brands - or if the liquid stuff works okay, stick with that. It might be worth getting a technician out, one who works on your particular brand of machine - they're usually fairly cool, and won't charge too much if the problem's easily fixed.

Try changing the brand of washing powder. Mine does it to if I use a cheaper brand. Also make sure there is no build up of washing powder underneath the drawer.

I suppose the water doesn't go into the drawer, but the liquid soap just rinses in the machine. I bet you still have warranty, and you could call the warranty officer to come and fix it.
