He made some geat films in th 90's then all of a sudden I never saw him again. Is he dead?

funny you should ask as we haven't heard of him until a few days ago when he has been accused of tax evasion. Coincidence? no.

He's on the run because he owes about $8 million in tax. Like you could hide if you are Wesley Snipes??? He'll be wearing orange soon for a very long time.

He's not dead. In Hollywood, you're only as good as your last movie. He had a contract, like most actors, for a certain number of years. When his contract was up, he had done more movies like "Murder at 1600 and Passenger 57, less like Blade, New Jack City, or Sugar Hill". I think he had not chosen a diverse enough number of parts for himself and now the industry, INCLUDING SPIKE LEE, is looking more to the new up and coming actors.

On October 17, 2006, he was indicted on eight counts of tax fraud!
But he has done loads of films in the last couple of years.

he's filming in Namibia. don't think he'll be going home for a while due to the 12 million he owes in tax and the 16yr prison term he may get.
