When there is such an active market for silicone breast and buttocks enhancement, cologen lip enhancement to make them full and sexy, padded bra's and panties, make up, mini skirts, and so much more designed specifically to draw attention to their sexuality.
Is it only plain or ugly women that object? Is it a jealousy thing about other women or what?

Blue, I think you can be different but still be equal and my point is that women often strive to be different so are men just supposed to ignore all that effort?

Nquiz, if they are enhancing their **** and *** then they can expect comments like 'hey, nice **** and ***'. Why shouldn't we be specific. Such remarks most certainly are in the sexist category.
Bringing 'invitation to rape' into it is just a red herring to support your weak argument. No women carries a sign around her neck saying 'rape me' and I am in no way suggesting that physical enhancement inviting compllements or comments about the said enhancements and the parts they enhance should in any way be seen as an invitation to rape.

I think it may be a jealousy thing. But you also notice that some ladies say they hate sexist remarks made about them, but they live by the double standard. It's OK for them to say things that bash males, but they get mad when they hear someone bash women?

i do no longer think of ladies have a monopoly in this. adult males make merely as many sexist comments as women. the version i've got discovered is that it is not Politically appropriate for a guy to make that style of remark, so he does 2 issues, makes the remark so outrageous that that's humorous, or he waits till each and all of the ladies leave. usually no longer consistently adult males (or perhaps it merely me) locate it humorous whilst a woman tries to generalize approximately adult males. Oh properly adequate of this gentle feely stuff, i might desire to get yet another beer *brruupp*

I think you are confusing the word sexy and sexist. Women like to be considered sexy but they do not want to hear remarks that are crude and or offensive There is quite a difference in being told by a man that he finds you "very attractive," as opposed to being told "hey, nice titz and @ss!" I don't think women, beautiful or plain or ugly like to be talked to or disrespected in this manner. Just because a woman decides to use artificial means to enhance how she looks does not mean she enjoys or wants to be disrespected or is "inviting" this kind of attention. This is along the same line of thinking that if a woman doesn't want to get raped then she shouldn't invite it by wearing certain kinds of tight or revealing clothing. This places no responsibility on men for controlling themselves and all responsibility on women.
Now the word "sexist" refers to discrimination of women based on their gender. In other words remarks considered "sexist" would be when men make statements like "firefighting is no job for a woman!" Or, "women should just stick to having babies." Those are "sexist" remarks because they are discriminatory against women and based on past acceptable societal roles for women.

Well, I personally think that a lot of the things that you describe are slightly sexist, in that they objectify women's bodies. Beyond that, however--the way that women look doesn't give you a right to treat them as anything but equals. Making sexist comments is inappropriate.
*Response to your response* Maybe you mean something other than "sexist," then. It isn't sexist to offer a compliment. It is sexist to, for example, yell lewd things at a woman on the street. That's what is inappropriate.

Your the type of pig that created all those "active market" subjects your refering to. You think women actually LIKE wearing all that crap. Hell no. Takes you 2 seconds to get ready to go somewhere, (probably without a shower in a week or so), and a girl a lot longer. God forbid a girl actually be natural for a day.

Men want to make themselves handsome, right? I think you're making a mistake as to what sexism is. A sexist comment is one that slags someone off, purely for being male or female. Of course women want to make themselves attractive, this is a base instinct. Just because we draw attention to our sexuality doesn't make us sexist. If a shop sells bras, iit's not a sexist shop. It's just geared towards women. I don't understand your argument.

Nobody likes sexist comments, be they male or female, as they're (most likely) derogitary comments that probably do not relate to the person receiving the comments.
How someone dresses, etc. has no bearing on whether they like people being unpleasant to them. Just because someone draws attention to themselves does not mean they should receive sexist comments.

It has been proven that people (not just guys) pay more attention to how a girl looks than how a guy looks. It began with the media, pressuring girls to look good. Today we see only the effect of the damage done by those before us. Girls who do not look as good are treated differently. Start to watch and you'll really start to see it everywhere.

sexist comments or compliments?
most women are beautiful naturally, without wasting money on "fake" enhancements. implants and collagen and padded, push-up bras....it's not real, and most of the time doesn't look real (or feel real, either).
I want a natural woman (and I have one, thank you!), not a Barbie doll!
