Everyone women experiences their pregnancy differently. Some women can get symptoms before they even miss a period but don't really pay any attention to it because they are not trying to get pregnant. My opinion, I think that women notice symptoms before a period is even missed is because they are trying to conceive so every little ache will trigger a what if question

Not everyone has pregnancy symptoms. Those who do, the early pregnancy symptoms usually start right around the time their period is expected, which is why many women mistake them for PMS.

During the first pregnancy, most women don't start to show until 4-5 months. Second pregnancies and beyond most women show earlier because their body has already been through the process and all those muscles aren't as tight as they use to be.

I've heard of women getting symptoms within the first week (my great aunt for one), but I believe this is probably pretty rarely the case. I would say symptoms usually occur in the first 8-10 weeks, although some women never have any of those "i feel pregnant" feelings, like the nausea, sore breasts, achey tummy, etc.
Personally, I started becoming snug in my jeans before I even knew I was pregnant....I started with twins, you see, and when I miscarried one baby, I thought it was a period...I'd bought a new pair of perfectly fitting cords to wear to a family reunion about 5 days beforehand....on the day of the reunion, they were a bit tight and uncomfortable and I would've only been about 4 weeks....I miscarried on that day. I actually started popping out about 5 weeks later and was wearing maternity clothes by the end of my first semester...However, it is always different for every woman and every pregnancy.

Everyone is different, some people can start feeling sick within a few days/ weeks and other are not aware until further down the line. In terms of showing, this again varies. I started showing with my first when I was around 5 months, with my second this was sooner. By the time I was six months, people kept asking how long I had left as I was massive.

The day I was supposed to get my period, with my fist child, I had gotten a sharp pain on my right side for 2 seconds, and then I got it again on the left side. I took a HPT the day after I missed my period, and it was a faint positive. I never got any other symptoms till I was like 3 months along. When I was 2 months pregnant I poped right out there. Everybody is different.

I knew when I was 3 weeks pregnant, had the sickness, worn out with no energy and sore chest, I did a test about a week before I was due on and got a very faint line on the test. I didnt start showing properly until about 5 months.

I was close to tree weeks when I just felt different. Not many symptoms, I just knew something was up. I had to stop wearing my skinny jeans the first month. By the 3 and 1/2 mark I had to give up jeans that wear a few sizes bigger than my skinny jeans. By then you could tell I was starting my baby bump. And thus began my love of maternity clothes.

Everybody is different. I am 11 weeks pregnant and i look like a beach whale already. I got the sickness etc when i was about 4 weeks into the pregnancy and its only just finished. I guess i am one of the unlucky ones. Its all worth it in the end though
