I can't believe that there are real people out there who, judging from their replies, think you are REALLY only six!

They obviously haven't checked your profile and seen your question about felching have they?

You are obviously not six, but very puerile.

Write a childrens book, especially on psycology of children, that will make you famous instantly. You can also consider an internet based business where you can sell products or services. At your age, it is not legal to work yet, so best to try and do things which seem like "hobbies". Start a company, speak to Bill Bryson, whatever you put your mind to, you can do it and don't let grown ups stop you. Basically identify gaps in the market, over here in the town where I live there is no service that will look after your kids for short periods, say one or two hours, so if someone could devise a way of keeping kids busy in a safe environment for an hour or two, they could make money of it. You'll need money and infrastructure though....

Maybe you could mow your nans lawn or walk someones dog for a bit of money ?! Ask your parents to ask their neighbours for you. Thats a great way to start earning some of your own money. Or maybe you could help out at a playgroup instead?? read to the kids and play games with them?!

However, keeping a job and going to school is tough. you've gotta at least get to high school before you can think about quitting and getting a full time job! so maybe you should just enjoy the time youve got now

You may have the makings of a budding entrepreneur. Find something you can buy and sell to your schoolmates (or even teachers!) for a profit or go and offer your services as a car washer to local people at weekends and out of school hours (or clean their yard, weed the garden - whatever you feel you can do). If you car washing business or other activities takes off you can even provide part time work for other people at your school and make even more money! If you make enough money and want to continue your education, you won't need a student loan and can get well ahead of your schoolmates!

School may be boring - But trust me the work place is no amusement park.... Unless of course you work at one!! Trust me kid unless your a genius or have some extremely unique talent and passion, which is probably not the case or you would need not ask the question, stay in school. Your youth passes way to quickly ...Enjoy it!!! You have a life time to work. One suggestion though - find something you love to do,study, practice, live it and find a way to make a living doing it.... Then it's not "WORK".... Just a thought ...Peace....

Depends on where you are, America there are child labor laws, so that unless you get a job that pays under the table you could not get hired. You could always get a job as a sales man/woman several millionaires started that way.

Do whatever your parent tells you......

Tell them you'd like to earn an allowance.....

At six, I can't imagine you'd write this on this board... I'd think you'd been a parent thinking up ways to get you some little bit of change.....

So, give your kid the opportunity to make some money.....

At six, something like 2 to 5.00 is feasible......

Clean your room, pick up leaves outside, sweep the porch etc....

Yes there is, help your Mom in cleaning the house, learn to prepare and cook food, feed your pets in the house(if any).
I think that will keep your busy for the day. How about pay? - Thats the time to ask your Dad.

My advice to you since you are 6 is do some yard work for neighbors like I did when I was your age. You can make some easy money and older people love it when a kid like you is willing to work.
