ehl_a,yes,if the poor do not take advantage of what opportunities they do have then it is nature itself that takes from them what little they do have. envy and blame of the rich only further harms oneself.

It is the nature of the people.

Rich people tend to be smarter, better educated and motivated to work.

Poorer people tend to be the opposite.

I was a poor people until I exploited my free education, worked hard and became a rich people. Now I get quite tired hearing how some numbnuts had such a hard life, while they screwed off in school, looked for fun all the time and ignored their future until it was too late. And they expect me to just give it to them in taxes or charity.

Well my friend, that's how capitalism works. It's how are economy operates and functions. It's a competitive world out there and the people who are powerful and rich are going to stay at the top, while the poor will just remain poor. However, I love capitalism because there is always hope. If you're poor, there's always hope that you can rise to the top, but unlikely.

Because the rich, predominately western nations, make it so that the poorer countries get poorer. It's also due to things like the welfare system, getting into a certain social class, institutionalised inequality, educational inequality etc.

It's harder for a poor person to earn and save money to invest.
Rich people already have the money so it's easy for them.

It takes money to make money.
