I completely agree with you. I think women/girls make sexist comments because they do not understand feminism. They also do not understand how far women have come in the past 40 years--and how far we have yet to go. (ie: right now, women get paid 60 cents on the male dollar for equal work and equal experience).

I don't think women have a monopoly on this. Men make just as many sexist comments as women. The difference I've found is that it is not Politically correct for a Man to make that sort of comment, so he does two things, makes the comment so outrageous that it is funny, or he waits until all the women leave. Often not always men (or maybe it just me) find it funny when a woman tries to generalize about men. Oh well enough of this touchy feely stuff, I need to get another beer *brruupp*

To be honest i dont think women realize they are making sexist comments .
Those that do make sexist comments knowingly tho we males tend to annotate weather she would be just a good f7ck or relationship material. If she makes these kinds of statements often we males may want the honey ,but i guarantee you that we dont want to nest in the hive so to speak. If its realy bad and you come across as misandric man hater we wont even consider sleeping with you.
I hear a lot of beautiful women who have everything going for them say ,"i cant get a date" or " why does a man just want to jump down my pants and run " or " why are men so secretive"
Well the answer to these questions is basicly if you make enough sexist comments to a male we put you in the sex object no relationship catagorey. We are certainley not going to open up to a woman emotionaly if they spout sexist crap about men .

The fact is most people like to make sexist comments, half in jest and half to assert the superiority of their gender, but only the men get penalised for it.
I think that women are over protected these days. There should be a right to free speech on such things. I know that for every woman offended by a remark on her sexuality, the size of her bust, or her backside, there are quite a few more flattered by it and who take it as a complement. Actually women even compete with each other to draw attention to such things or there would be no market for silicone enhancement or wonderbra's in the west or padded pants in Japan.

In the US it has become culturally acceptable to put down men and unacceptable for men to put down women (at least were we can hear it). I think it is bad manners either way. I noticed myself making nasty comments about men in general after a bad relationship. When it was pointed out to me that I was being disrespectful to ever husband, father, brother, or son (I have a Father that I love and respect very much, and 4 brothers that I love) I stopped.

Only one sexist comment? I'd love to know what that comment was - from all those different women, too? Was there a pole on which gender made more sexist comments than the other? Where do you get your statistics? This question seems fishy. (that's not a sexist comment!)
