I agree with the person who said to get her a gift certificate for a massage. I would have loved that! As the baby grows, so will the pressure on her back. I'm sure she would love something that will pamper her.

BTW, don't get her anything for the baby for her birthday, you can get her a shower gift for the baby later on.

Anything just for HER. Believe me it's not fun to have a birthday when you're pregnant. Everyone seems to think you'd rather have things "for the baby" so that's what they get you. No one figures you could actually want something for yourself...A gift certificate for a foot massage would be VERY thoughtful.

Don't give her another gift for the baby. She needs something for herself. Some women can feel left out when all of the attention is for the childs needs and not hers. Does she like porcelain figurines or does she collect things? You could even make her something yourself which would give it the personal touch and have more meaning.

Target gift certificates so she can buy something for herself since most attention is probably on the baby. Get her anything that helps her still feel like a beautiful woman and not just a mommy.

well if its your sisters birthday don't spend your money on the unborn child, that will get plenty of recognition in the near future... I suggest something that she can maybe use in the coming months for herself like face creams or makeup case. Massage gift certificate... However if you are planning on buying for the unborn child maybe a bottle steriliser or something like that... GOOD Luck and enjoy being an Uncle...

If it is for your sister birthday, get her a Victorias Secret gift card or a gift card to her fav. non baby store. She could use a bit of non baby pampering. Even a gift certificate for a day at a spa or a massage (if she likes that stuff)

Anything that will make her feel beautiful. If she is need maternity clothes find something she can wear and feel good in. She will love being able to show how pretty she is pregnant. It will give her a boost when she starts to feel like the blob.

FINE, THE BABY'S ON THE WAY, BUT IT DOESNT MEAN THAT YOU MUST GIVE HER SOMETHING THAT IS ALSO FOR THE BABY, ISNT IT? COME ON, THAT WILL BE DONE BY EVERYONE!

DO GIVE HER SOMETHING THAT IS NOT BABYISH, SOMETHING THAT TELLS HER THT SHE HAS A LIFE OF HER OWN OTHER THAN JUST THAT OF THE BABY.

WOMEN LOVE JEWELLERY, PERFUMES AND CLOTHES. IF SHE HAS A BOOKISH TREND, YOU CAN GIVE HER A THOUGHT PROVOKING BOOK, OR MAYBE A RECIPE BOOK FROM AN INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED CHEF? YOU MUST BE KNOWING HER TASTE BY NOW!!
