I uploaded a streaming mp4 file, and it works with my computer, but on other people's it doesn't, why?

mp4 is a newer format for data. Some computers; older ones, usually cannot read this file type.

mpeg 4 is alot more current and a lot of people haven't downloaded the codecs, players, drivers to play mp4

they might not have the same software upgrades.
