Mine is "Manimal". It lasted for about 6 episodes then got dropped. It was in the mid 80s. The premise was a man who fought crime by becoming different animals.

Alf, with the big puppet who lived with a family of 4 or 5, I think. There was another show along the same lines, I think it was called The Henderson's, and the family had a bigfoot living with them.

For me, it's a toss-up between The Gong Show and Let's Make a Deal. It just amazed me how big a fool people were willing to make of themselves just to be on television. But nothing's changed, or else there wouldn't be shows like Jerry Springer and Fear Factor.
