Golden Rules are not to be followed and to be applied for all situations and conditions. Depending upon the occasion and situations, the Rules need to be relaxed.

the exceptions are what make the rule stand. You know you are making an exception therefore you acknowledge the rule.

Okay you posted under psychology so are you referencing the client/therapist privilege? If so, the exception is when the person has revealed something that makes that person an eminent danger to themselves or another known person.

Yes, when it comes to judging. People don't like being judged and say you don't have the right to judge them unless you're in their situation, but the truth is you don't have to be in that situation to be able to distinguish right from wrong and know how it would feel. So I'd say judging is the exception because you are allowed to judge when the case requires it, although you don't like it when you are being judged.

I believe not.
I'm sure there's a lawyer who'd argue the case.
I have personally seen the good given returned to the giver and the bad - well, I knew several people who weren't good to me who suffered the two-fold effect of bad...It's kinda creepy!
So I always love all because in all ways I will be loved.

How could there be any exceptions to that? But how people choose to treat others is another story. I really think that you reap what you sow.
