I think the whole Indian think-tank has to be blamed for this dismal performance.First, they got the selection all wrong by selecting R.P.singh in place of Sreesanth.Futher, powar wasn't chosen for the last odi.Powar would have been quite handful for Wi on the Motera wicket.

Second, the idea of sending Irfan pathan at no.3 is just becoming counter productive. The need of the hour is some sound technical
batsmen at n0.3 and dravid take this role.Pathan's batting and bowling doesn't seem to increase his confidence rather performance in either of the departmen

Finally__Dravid would be doing a whole lot of good to the team,if he be assertive enough in his approach towards team selection(the so called "experimentation") and just don't nod his head for whatever Chappel says.

I fully agree with you regarding selection of R.P. Singh in place of Ramesh Power, which was most surprising, especially when slow bowlers have performed well in the Champion Trophy matches and Powar has performed reasonably well.

I strongly feel that both Coach and Captain should be blamed for the above mistake, which was very suicidal.

the entire team, including the coach & the captain ...

if the planning was bad, Chappell & Dravid surely have to share the blame as part of the think-tank ...

for bad execution, all the players & Dravid have to share the blame since Chappell can't score runs / take wickets for the players ...

No one u should blame Pitch if u r well known that India Pitch r not helpful for seamers i think u don't need R.P. & Even Pathan. Instead u give chance to Dinesh Mongia & Powar. who can Bat & Bowl. Make Sevag, Tendulkar, Yuvraj, Dinesh to bowl in every Match u will note changes.
