Well Im bi ive made out with girls and even fingered them Im sure im bi but lately somebody has told me your not bi until you have sex with and like the person and the sex but it confuses me because i love to look think and kiss girls was this person lieing or am i truely not bi?

That person's an idiot. Many people go without sex for a while, and they still have sexual attractions. Sexual attractions don't have to be acted on. Bisexual means you're attracted to both major genders, no more or less. I didn't have sex with a woman until I was 19 or with a man until I was 23; I still knew.

No, this person is mistaken, or rather, subscribes to a different viewpoint which I think is wrong. Sexual orientation is based on ATTRACTION, not ACTION. Otherwise, a lot of people are invalidated by the people they have had sex with or continue to sleep with. That would mean that all virgins are basically without sexual orientation because they haven't done anything yet.
Someone else pointed out that until you try something, you're not 100% sure. This is a good point but then, if you do sleep with girls and not care much for it, but continue to have the attraction, what does it mean? Perhaps it is better to point out that sex and attraction are not the same- lots of people have bad, unfulfilling sex, but don't let that change their sexual orientation from that gender. That's my view, at least.
You do not have to substantiate bisexual feelings by having sexual relations with both genders. The feeling is enough.

You don't need to have sex with them to say you're BI. You don't need to have sex with a man to say you're straight, you just know. Don't listen to your friends, or whoever told you that because if your attracted to the same and opposite sex, chances are, your BI! :)

That person would be stoopid. Orientation is based on attraction, not experience. If you like both sexes "that way" then by MOST people standards you're bi.

You really do not know a 100% percent until you try it. Not everything that percieves to be good is actually good. The only way to know is by going out there and doing it to prove to yourself, not anyone else that you have the feelings that you say you have.

GAY or LESBIAN refers to a a clear prefernce based on attraction and relationship and by virtue of its definition, you do not need to have had sex to declare you are GAY.
BI, is similar, it simply means you are attracted to members of opposite as well as same sex, you do not need to have sex to declare victory on this one...Take your time, baby..
