What is the difference between the terms trans-rotational and rotational, as applied to a body in motion?

trans-rotational - rotational as well as translational motion.
eg. wheels of moving car
rotational - only rotational motion.
eg. hands of a clock

Did you mean translational vs rotational?

Translation means linear motion with no change in orientation.

Rotation means angular motion
