Dravid is no better. Most of the Indian captains are defensive.Though India could have scored more runs, still he should have defended the total.

1.Why did he pick the 4th seamer R.P.Singh?
2.Why Dinesh Mongia was not picked in his place. He would have been more useful as a bowler(in Indian pitches)and also as a batsman at No 3.
3.Why is he always sending I.Pathan at No 3
4.Why he failed to use 2 overs of Munaf Patel?
5.Why Tendulkar was not given a few overs (instead of YuvrajSingh).
Though Gangjuly was also defensive he was able to motivate the youngsters. In that respect Ganguly was better..

You mean India is losing only after Rahul has come. What about the superstars Sachin, Sewag, Yuvraj, Pathan etc.? Did they fail for the firts time yeterday. ? Have India not last matches under Ganguly and other captains. Why blame only the captain, whether it is Saurav or Rahul. What the worlds best batsmen are doing? Can you count the number of times India have lost due to pathetic batting? You got the answer.

It is too early to compare the captaincy of Ganguly with Dravid considering the fact that Ganguly has captained the Team for couple of years and played many more matches as compared to Dravid. The success of the captain to certain extent depends upon the perfirmance of the players also. The calibre and potential of players Ganguly had at his command were much better than the Team India today.

Guys, there are 10 other players (than the captain - Dravid or Ganguly or whoever), including some pretty experienced ODI campaigners like Tendulkar, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Agarkar, Pathan, etc.

No doubt Dada is the best captain. There is no comparing of Rahul with Dada. People may say that give him a chance to prove but how many chances you want to prove. No doubt Rahul is a good player but he is not at all a good captain. He does not have the ability and potential to lead the team. He Can be a wall not the foundation. Dada is the best ever foundation of the team.

No doubt about that. Dada is faaaaaar better captain than Dravid. As a captain Dada was driven by himself only. He used to take any strong and hard decision completely by himself. He cared for juniors and did everything which he thought right for the team.

I think both are bad. coz they are also the part of dirty politics............

I believe Dravid is supposed to keep himself away from the politics. Then only he can get the right team to win at least 80-90% of game. Right now the condition is we are successful in 10 % of game & loosing 90 % game. Look at the present Indian team.....name anyone who is performing?? except 1 or 2 out of 11. look at sehwag, the HERO ...... explored by Media..... now ZERO. or may be in negative.

That would be the best captain who will give us at least 90 % result in Indian favour.

i do think so.dravid started tightening the infield more than the outfield in the last over when the batsman was trying to go over the head and also gave them short balls for going overhead expecting them to go on the backfoot to just hit it to the fielders inside just like before
