All mountains continually change both up and down. Many mountains like the Himalayas are still rising. However erosion by wind, ice and sun also occurs.

Many of the mountains that are still rising, and probably those that are rising the fastest, are in remote areas like South America, Alaska and Russia.

there are several types of mountains - the only type of mountains that grow are the fold mountains- they are formed through continental shifts-one land mass pushing against another- for example, the himalayas were formed through the push of the indian plate on the eurasian plate-they are still growing-in centimeters and measurement techniques are not yet perfect-so cant give a definite answer-one thing is certain, they are still growing
