Would it be pulled along with the earth? Would it be left behind and be pulled into the sun? Would it fly off in some other direction from its own momentum? Or would there be some other result for it?

It would depend on how fast the Earth moves as it leaves its orbit. Clearly, under normal orbital motion of the Earth around the Sun, the Moon has no trouble keeping up.

If the Earth moved faster than about 6 miles/second, which is its own gravitational escape velocity, the Moon will be left behind.

no expert but i would think that any force that is violent enough to pull earth off orbit would pull the moon off earths orbit as well. what would happen to both? dont know maybe wander into space or once its shaken up it'll settle into new orbit

Honey, if the earth flies off its orbit I don't give a good god damn if the moon turns into vanilla pudding and smacks Condoleeza Rice in the face. I'll be too busy screaming.

Moons gravitational is highly influenced by earth.
So moon also may move with earth
