I have more then one answer for that.....

I was always told as a child >>>>Think marriage only after you are able to support yourself without ever having to feel dependent on another.

I found this to be very important.
Education and employment should be on top of the list then go forward with a date.
Age........
Well that depends on your drive to accomplish the "self" goals of Independence.

Love, communication, compassion for one another, caring and sharing.....Love and know yourself first....

Age...older then 18>>legally

I tell my children 25-30

It depends on the person and the couple

I just couldnt answer with one age....

I think that you should get married at an age where you aren't feeling pressured or you think that you are going to live a fairy tale. You should be under the knowledge that marriage is not a bed of roses and a very important decision. There are couples that marry in their teens and live together as well as stay married for over sixty years or forever. There is no age limit to marriage just maturity.

Case by case assessment is needed. 60% divorce rate. Why? Money and maturity. If you or your partner aren't 100% ready and stable then you will add to the 60% Some people just shouldn't get married because they aren't suited. It also matters how long you've known each other. Forever takes a level of commitment that requires intimate knowledge and unconditional love.

Now the simple answer...

25 if you have the savings to build your new life together.

I don't think there is a standard age for you to marry...I think you can marry someone if you think that you are stable in your life. You need to consider many aspects before marrying someone like your compatibility, if you can support a family and of course thinking that the person you would like to marry will be the one u want to be with you for the rest of your life.

I don't think marriage comes with the right age...It really comes on the two person who are willing to take the risk and make things work for the two of them :)

whenever you find real, lasting love. it may be 18 or 80. personally, i was 16 when i met my now husband, but we didn't get married until 1 month after my 18th. we've been married for 5 years now, and still going strong, despite what people first thought.

It all depends on the person. Some are mature enough at 20 and some still arent ready in their 30's...
