Yes. Before it shifted, and after it become deserted.

Can't remember much before it shifted, it's just a very very simple hospital with alot of wooden bench at that time for the outpatient to sit on.

The Old Changi Hospital now is just a deserted building.

During the day, OCH also serve as a good place for camera lovers to take pictures. There are wedding couples who took their pictures there also especially for the historical value.

However, OCH is more famous for the activities in the night. There are people who will try to get in for the sake of the ghostly exploration in that building especially since the hospital has undergo the period of WWII, and alot of people did die in the building.

The truth is.. the only scary thing is to bump into other explorers when you turn into the dark corner, or occasionally screaming you heard from them, nothing ghostly tho.

There's an area in that building where cults used to hold their rituals after the building is deserted. I believe they have shifted to some other location, but you can still see the marking of their rituals on the ground.

The building is "out-of-bound" now and there's a guard who will be patrolling around the building (in the night too). This helps to stop any cult or drug taker from hanging around in the building at night.

However, if you are planning to explore the area, please take note that
1) it's a government owned area which is out of bounds, so please inform the guard if you are going in to take some photos or for history research.
2) it's a deserted building, which means that the facitilies are not under maintanence, it might pose some danger especially walking during the night, and do not ever attempt to step into the lift.

If you intend to go there for ghostly exploration, feel free to visit the SPI website to join their trips to OCH (If any)
