I have a serious problem with depression.I do not have any insurance to see a phsycaiatrist or doctor.I will see a doctor
at my local mental health clinic but not for another two weeks.
It's supposed to be free. But I really feel like I am stuck in hell.
Lately my day to day life is getting worse and worse for me.
I cannot function normally.I can't sleep at night and end up sleeping from 4am to 4pm.I don't know what to do with myself.
I feel like the biggest failure and that there is no way I could ever fix my problems.I don't even have anyone that I can talk to because my boyfriend just can't understand or help me and my family isn't worth it.They are all too self consumed. What can I do just to make me feel a little bit better.I feel like I can't take anymore.I
understand that this is not the place where you should look for
help but I am so down right now and have no other choice. Please
only answer seriously.I am just looking for some happier words
not harsh comments.

Read a book called "Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About". It really helped me.
I was depressed, suffered migraines, panic attacks, allergies and assorted gastrointestinal problems.
By following the advise in the book, and doing some of the cures, I feel so much better. I have more energy, I feel happier, I have only had 3 migraines this YEAR (down from 5-6 a MONTH). The panic attacks and allergies are all but gone and my stomach doesn't hurt so much anymore.
The book talks about how some people are ultra sensitive to preservatives in junk food and the chemicals, pesticides and antibiotics that they use in food production. Some of the symptoms are what you're describing.
Look at it this way, if you get the book from the library, you can try it free and you don't lose anything. Except the bad feelings.
It really does work.

Try seeing if the mental health place will move up your appointment. let them know the trouble you are having. Go to a church and talk to a pastor, but please hang in there things are not as bad as they seem. Trust me, I know. Last Friday I thought things in my life were so bad that I tried and almost succeeded in taking an overdose of a whole bunch of pills. Four different doctors said by all rights I should have died. I ended up getting sent to a psychiatric hospital where I spent the last five days. From experience I am telling you it is not worth it . I have three kids and a boyfriend who all love me very much and I have hurt them all so bad it will take them a long time to get over what I put them through. The saddest part about it I had so many pills in me that I really do not remember most of what I said to any of them. So now I have to go and try to piece together what all I did and said to all these people. I can not take those words back and fix things and make it okay and that hurts really bad. I have to go tomorrow and deal with one of my best friends in the whole world whose brother committed suicide three years ago and have to look him in the eye while he lets me know how very much I hurt him, between that and telling my boyfriend whom I love more than that I hated him and never wanted to see him again,. That hurts big time. There are a lot of deppressed people in the world and I just pray you hold on until you can get the help you need. Doing something dumb like I tried is NEVER worth it. It truly is a cowards way out. And even when you think everyone would be better off if you were dead, that is not true for one momement. Trust me I know this first hand.Take it day by day, hour by hour, or even minute by minute what ever it takes to get you through. I hope you get the help you need and everything works out for you. Good Luck.

My heart goes out to you, I'm in the same spot. It got so bad I had to leave work. I did see my doctor and she wrote me a prescription for antidepressants, but I really don't want to go down that road. I'm trying some supplements from the health food store right now. I read where some people get full system candida overgrowth, and it can cause a lot of different problems, including depression. I'm at the stage where I can't sleep at night. Anyway, I'm going to give these supplements a try before I start taking drugs. Do some research on depression on the internet, and look for some natural remedies first. I read that St. John's Wort is good also. If you need someone to talk to, you can email me through my profile page. Good luck and take care.

Jenn..Im in a junior in college and in a very similar situation. Im honestly right there with you with the insurance situation bc my insurance company wont cover me where i go to school. I just want you to know you're not alone. Also, remind yourself like I do, things do get better, I promise. Without change, the bad times would never get better and unfortunately the good would never get worse. Its the cycle society, people, everything goes through. Just gotta talk to yourself into toughing this period of mental and physical depressing agony out. Things will click into shape soon, its just a matter of time. Im personally still waiting for that time to arrive. A tip, try to be around people as often as possible, it distracts me as well from feeling like hell. And look, if they dont understand, ***** em, in the end all you have is yourself...having a 'fcuk em' attitude helps me sometimes when i get caught up that kinda stuff. Another thing which distracts me is getting into a show I really like...i have netflix and get into all these shows, bc they help me get away from reality for a while. If you dont have a job..find one, it'll help you stay occupied and almost feel wanted(I just finished my bartenders class, still searching myself) Just make sure you really try to get urself to do things, whatever it is. I know the feeling of not having any motivation or hope. But once you get urself into it, its not near as bad or agonizing as you anticipated it would. Try not to loaf around...it only brews up depressing thoughts and feelings. -sorry for the runon book here, just trying to pass on things which help me get through these past 4 months of clinical depression I have been going through.

My g-f is bipolar and has the money to pay for medicine and a great therapist, but the government has been no help for her. I suffer from depression and see a therapist and I would recomend it to you if you could find one who you feel you can trust. If you have any problems you can call one of those suicide lines (even if you're not suicidal) and find out what resoures they sugest for you to take advantage of.

best of luck for you!

Try the following directry...they do swimming wear for higher females however it's also satisfactory for pregnant females because it presents help and dosn't make you appear frumpy. My recommendation might be to appear on the web as there are lots of webpages in the market that focus on maternity put on that honestly appears first-class!

you're right....you have the classic signs of depression. sometimes it's about making a big change in some aspect of our life...like our job, where we live, our relationships. many times shifting our thought patterns to think more positively or realistically because alot of times we do negative self talk or we blow things out of proportion. try doing an affirmation list....affirmations are positive statements about self....do 5 affirmations. for example, "i got out of the house for a walk today. the exercise is good for me." "i cooked a good meal. my friend said so." "I didn't talk down to myself today." hang in there, until your appt.

Think about the good things in life. Thinking about the negative things only causes problems and causes the problems to get bigger and bigger.
