I really want that extra hour to stay. I think people will be more well-rested and less stressed if we get our hour back and keep it that way. Should we keep moving the clock back and forth? Or should we get rid of it once and for all? What do you guys think? Who really benefits from this anyway? I certainly don't.

We should meet in the middle and then quit moving it at all. Like when we are supposed to go back an hour soon, we should go back 30 min. instead and then leave it alone. Less confusion.

You may get that hour when it goes back, but you lose it when it goes forward, so you have not really gained anything.

I would be very happy if we stayed on day light savings time. I love having it stay light longer. I think we should stay on it all year. It really messes up my internal clock when we turn our clocks forward and then backward. It takes me about 2 weeks or more for my body to adjust.

I am in two minds about it......

For me I dont mind putting my clock forward this weekend as I have been waking up at 4am every morning, so as of sunday it will be 5am which is when I get up to get ready for work.

BUT

For my son I dont want it to happen... its hard to get kids to go to bed when its still light outside. This last week he has been going to bed earlier and getting up later which I love.

Daylight savings was put in place to benefit farmers. I agree with you. I don't think we need it anymore. There are states that don't have daylight savings (Arizona). They seem to be doing alright without it.

It may only be an hour but it's enough to confuse my body. I say get rid of it once and for all.
