This is basically no strings attached aid when you consider they sank one of our Naval ships in the 60s and have slaughtered inocent Palestinain kids with impunity. Is it any wonder Muslims hate us?

OK so its peanut shells to you. I for one am sick of seeing my paycheck raped and if a fraction of a penny goes to the apartheid state of Israel it still makes me mad. Wouldnt you be mad if we gave arms and threw money at the old apartheid state of South Africa?

OK you have some good arguments and if you are Jewish I understand your anger. But the Mossad and IAF claim they thought it was an Egyptian vessel. The Egyptians were using boats that were so obsolete they might as well have been frigates. I think the Mossad are liars. Your right that there are a lot of Palestinians are maniacs who would kill anyone who is not Muslim. The bottom line is though is that The USA should not arbitrarily send tax dollars to the Israeli government that has been guilty of massacres and duplicity. Its none of our business. Your right on about the PLO not taking a sweet deal to insure its own existence but I think the US and Israel has some culpability for the corrupt PA leadership.

The USS Liberty was intentionally attacked by the State of Israel's warplanes, whether it sank or not. The intent to sink it was there in abundance.

So what? That vessel you are so worried about, was a CIA rig Used to spy on the Israelis during the 7 days war. It was an accidental target. And was attacked, because of faulty intellegence on the part of the mossad. The were apologetic and compensated the familys of the sailors and agents that lost their lives on the vessel. Alot like we did when we accidently bombed the French embassy in Lybia 1980's, and the Chinesse embassy in Serbia in the 1990's. It happens when you are fighting for your very existance, some times Stuff happens. As far as Innocent Palestinians, Tell that to the mourning mothers in Tel Aviv, when their children are murdered at the street cafe', because of a suicide bomber. To quote a friend of mine

And since I don't give a DAMN whether or not some Arab Extreamist likes me. I think $84.854827 Billion USD over 60 years isn't nearly enough for the Oldest Democracy in the middle east. When Palestinians put up an Honest broker for peace, Then maybe we should back off their Foreign Aid check. Until then, There will be Quid Pro Quo Attacks every time a Palestinian dares use suicide\homicide bombers in the crowded markets, and Bazaar's.

Israel is not a viable state. It is propped up by our tax dollars. We give the equivalent of like $26,000 apiece to every citizen of Israel each year. They carry out policy in the middle east that infuriates the local Arab people so much that they often call for Israelis to be driven into the sea. It is no wonder the Arabs hate us. If the Arabs were smarter though, they would welcome Israel and then we would give them lots of money too. Doesn't this all make you really happy?

There are plenty of strings attached. The US has an inordinate amount of influence on the Israeli govt. more than is healthy for either. If you want to look at no strings attached aid, look at Egypt. Their (govt controlled) press & (govt controlled) mosques spew out anti American venom on a daily basis. Israel is 1 of 2 countries (UK is the other) on whom I know we can depend in a crisis.

Judging by your question, it would appear that you are a bit confused as to exactly how much money that is. When compared, for instance, with our national deficit, it is one millionth of a drop in a very large bucket. Writing out billions of dollars makes it seem huge, doesn't it? But in reality, we give less than 1% of our national budget away each year, and that includes aid to each of our allies and humanitarian aid. Don't attempt to mislead people by distorting information. Funny too, I think, that you indicate that muslims hate us because we help Jews, yet somehow that is the fault of anyone but the Muslims. So? Heck US soldiers have killed more US soldiers in so called friendly fire than Israel. So rather a lame anti Israel argument. U.S. supports them since it was one of the only democrat countries in the region, something the U.S. does promote.
