He has been sent to the Reheb for alcoholic last year 2005 for six weeks due to smelling of alcohol during work; relased and return to work until now. He got several warning due to making mistakes and he works in the hospital. I think time to retire.

He can retire for Social Security at 62 although the check will be smaller than if he worked longer.
Unemployment requires that he be fired/let go and be willing to actively seek work through so many hours of class and/or applications submitted per week.
