So much of what people think they know is due to what some one told them. Is getting the real truth so hard? Most of what people know about religions other than their own they get from other people who don't know anything about that religion either. The same can be said for matters of race, nationality and even sexuality.

It has to do with there view of knowing how to be in the in-crowd nobody like's to be set apart from the society,but on the contary one should have there own opinion and drive to stick on what they belive also have the courage to reshuffle there thinking based on facts!

You have a choice. Believe people, the media, or yourself. Including in "Media" is the Bible. No believer can deny that the bible is not a book. They only call it "holy book" . Hindus believe that cows are holy.
I would rather believe in my own senses, mind and self.
When you listen to 10 people or read 10 magazines and papers, the truth most of the time is in the middle.

Because its easier that way. Most people are followers and not leaders. That's why our country is in such bad shape. Everyone has an opinion but will still follow the majority even if they don't agree with it.

yea... people care more about what other people will think of them than what the truth is.

it all goes with the times.

anyone can practically be convinced of anything if the masses believe it... it's pathetic.

it just goes to show how shallow of a nature we can have...
shows how a lot of us have no backbone.

I think it's because people are too lazy. Our culture says that we want it and we want it now, we don't want to work for it. Personally, I find that to be such a cop out and take pride in researching things for myself!
