Its kind of like the pursuit of money, the more you have the more you spend so the more you need. True happiness is learning to be content at whatever level you are. I'm not saying dont strive to be better, because I always do, but I am saying be content, not patient, always push, but give yourself time to grow and achieve and obtain...and love yourself for who you are not what you have. It may sound cliche' but its true...happiness comes from loving yourself and being able to truly love the ones around you. Dont look for things to make you happy, cross off goals that you keep pursuing...and watch how happy that makes you.

I used to but now I realize that the things of the world provide you with a temporary high and true happiness exists in your mind and heart.

yes, i do it all the friggin time and it annoys the shhit outta me b/c i cant control it. I dont know why it happens tho.
