America would have been OK with Britain's attempts to centralize its colonial empire had it not been for the fact that Britain would not allow colonials representation in the British Parliament. The call to arms among the American Colonists was "Taxation without Representation" was unfair. Now some argue that it was envitable anyway - but that is not definate anyway.
