Super Saiyan 2nd Grade increases muscle mass and size and is much more powerful than the standard Super Saiyan level. Also the hair gets longer and is slightly sharper in appearance. The aura changes from a gentle flame to a uncontrolled torrent of fiery energy. Though being bulky, Super Saiyan 2nd Grade still retains its speed unlike Super Saiyan 3rd Grade. It is still, however, not as fast and powerful as Super Saiyan 2. Super Saiyan 2nd Grade isn't truly a form, but a name for the point in between the Super Saiyan level and the Super Saiyan 3rd Grade form.

Yep, That's true. When Goku became Super Saiyan 3 it didn't seem as cool as Super Saiyan 1 and 2. The reason for this is because the anime time between Super Saiyan 2 and 3 was pretty short. If they make the episode much much more longer before Goku became Super Saiyan 3 it would of been cooler than Goku becoming Super Saiyan 3 just within just a few episode that he became Super Saiyan 2. Now people are going crazy with the whole Super Saiyan level thing in Dragon Ball AF(making Super Saiyan 5,8,9 and 10 and so forth all the way up higher than 1000.) It would be cooler if they make only Goku become Super Saiyan 3 and make the rest of the Saiyan gain better abilities that are unique to them.

super saiyan 2 has more muscles and thats about it, i think hair still stays the same but yes is more muscle

take gohan for example. notice the difference in hair spikes. in ssj2, spikes are thinner and much more defined. the saiyan also produces electrical whatnots around his person. muscle mass remains the same

Their hair is a bit longer, they are much stronger and faster but don't really change in size, and I think one prominent feature is the electricity bolts dancing around their bodies.

lol.....it have been years since i watch dragon ball z
i kinda remember,,,,the longer their hair are the next Sayain they transform...something like that...also i tinhk their hair brights more as they transform to the next Sayain
