I'm majoring in mathematics, and I'll prolly end up taking that subject test just for fun, but I just took the GRE this morning and I got a 750 on math, but only a 430 on verbal (I won't know writing for another couple weeks). I sent my scores to Uni Central Florida, Uni Miami, U Notre Dame, and Ball State U.
So, my question is: Is my score good, bad, mediocre? I can't find any averages or anything on online, so if you can put a link, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

It depends on the admissions requirements of the schools/departments you are applying to. Departments and schools will have minimum score requirements and they will compare you to other applicants, so whether or not these scores help you get into graduate school will depend on what everyone else who is applying to the same departments you are applying to gets.

The following link contains some statistical information you can use to interpret your GRE scores. Remember that the GRE is a norm-referenced test, which means that the score is an indication of your performance in comparison to other people who took the same test. The means reported in this interpretation information means "average", so you can read your score in relation to these means. If your score is higher than the relevant mean, you did better than half of the people, and if your score is lower than that mean, you did worse than about half of the people.

Again, this interpretive information will compare you to all people who took the test that you took, but whether or not you get into the graduate programs will depend on how you look in comparison to just the specific people who apply to the same programs that you apply to.
