No one can pick a nickname for your child other than you and the family. Nicknames come from the way your children are and how they act. You'll think of one once you see her. If you already have, then pay more attention to what she does.

I have twin girls named Aseanti and Amaari. Their fathers' name is Sean so that is why Aseanti's name is spelled so differently from the usual, and Amaari is named after my best friends mom, Mari. I chose those names because they both have meaning sentimentally. Their middle names are Jynise and Jynette, respectively, and I got these from my sisters who share the same name with different spellings. As far as names go I say look far and wide, and in the end find one that means something to you. By the way Aseanti means- desired woman, and Amaari means- lovely immortal girl.
I also think it depends on your ethnicity. I am Black/American with an indian, hispanic, Belizean descent, and their father is Black/ American of Jamaican descent. That being said I chose names with a West African background in order to celebrate our heritage, so take all of that into consideration, and most importantly take your time. You want your child to grow up kowing that you cherished her enough to put time and effort to naming her. She should understand where her name came from, what it means, and why it was so important for you to name her what you chose to name her. Too many people today try to give their children names that don't fit, and never take the time to realize that a child's name stays with them for a lifetime. Forget the myths that say we shouldn't give our children names that are hard to spell, because that only keeps our children illiterate. If your child can spell red, dog, cat, and any other word in the dictionary or learn to read correctly they should have no trouble whatsoever learning to spell their name.

What's up with people giving names instead of nicknames??? Anyhow you could always go with angel or angelcakes or angel puff. :) Itty bitty. I'd have to know the kid's name to really come up with something.

My baby girl's middle name is Ainsley.

(We wanted an "A" middle name after my paternal Grandma Anna who passed away when I was younger and my hubby's maternal Grandma Audrey who he's very close with.)
