Just curious what the different genders feel about this question. Ok there's more to it. I was recently told about a situation ( I haven't confirmed if it's true but souds possible) about a man who was accused by a girl of looking down her top while she was working behind a food counter serving coffee and donuts. I was informed (if it really happened) the poloce went to the mans house and charged him. (Not sure with what maybe harrassment). In my province a few years back (Ontario Canada) a girl won the right for women to walk around topless if they so desired as the courts declared breasts were not sexual objects. Just wonder what you all think about this.

They're sexy, but I think every part of a woman can be sexy, including her voice. I think it sucks what happened to that guy--it could have ended with her getting someone else to serve him or just going "my eyes are up here."

From my point of view, it would have to depend on the type of person and also, how attractive the breast area is. You girls, better than anyone else, know that if you want to make them attractive, they will be attractive. Now, if the guy has decided that he is more into your behind than to your boobs, trust him to look the other way. Preferences and attraction I would sum it up to.

In any case, I do believe breasts are sexual objects for the simple reason that they are a main focus to both genres.

If a male is having sex with a woman, there will be a time when the breast will be touched and played with. Why? It brings passion or whatever the heck it is you call it into the woman, excitment, I believe.

Lesbians use breasts as a sexual object as well, in fact, that's what they mainly use, I believe.

So yeah, overall, defenitivly a sexual object. Those two words say it all. Objects that are used for sexual activities.

Wow. I've never heard of place where women can walk around topless. I think that they should remain "sexual objects." Part of the reason men like breasts so much is that they are a feminine sign. It's like 2 big reminders that it's a woman. I think that any part of the human body that changes with gender should be considered a sexual object, other than little things like longer hair and men's nipples.

Breasts are highly sexualized in out culture. A man trying to sneak a peek is almost certainly doing it to become sexually aroused. Trying to use a woman like that is a violation. It certainly doesn't sound like he had her permission, nor was she giving off signals that she wanted to have her cleavage admired.

However, the primary purpose of breasts is to feed our children. I long for the day when I can nurse my children in public without worrying that someone is going to stupidly misconstrue the act as sexual, or think that they have the right to stare to arouse themselves.

Saying women don't have to wear tops in public because breasts aren't sexual objects sounds like an important steo in combatting the societal over-sexualization of breasts. Yes, they can be sexual. However, they are not objects, they are merely parts of a person that can be sexual in a sexual context. In other contexts, such as breastfeeding, or, I imagine (although it feels foreign to me since I am a product of this culture), simply going for a topless stroll on a hot day, they are not.

I am from Ontario, so i completely understand. Its really great and everything that we won something on the women side, however i truthfully would never do it. they are sexual objects. If i walked down the street with my shirt off, i would have men following me around. I also feel its very in appropriate.

I'm a guy. And I"ll say that nipples are TOTALLY sexual objects; for BOTH sexes. As to whether I think that means they should have to be covered up...I don't really know or care. But it probably should be the same for everyone.

Hmmm, well the Court ruled they were not "sexual objects", didn't they?

I wouldn't want to be held in "Contempt of Court".

I believe that they are sexual in that they are sensitive to erotic pleasure and have erectile tissues in them...they are sensitive to touch and caress in both men and women....I am a gay male...lots of gay men love having their nipples played with.

Sensual I suppose; as part of a woman's overall attractiveness.
