I am running for town council. I am 18 years old. I join a team of 6 people. I was invited to join a team. Few of the members have some negative feedback they have on the community. I have been living for 1 year in this town and do not know a lot of people or the community very well. So I decided to get on their team because I wanted to get my name known. They have big signs… ECT.
One of my bad feedbacks was regarding too many signs are posted and illustrates trash in the city. For example: one bulletin board in the city is filled with our paper signs.
Know my name is on those posters and I receive bad comments from some of the community. I use to get positive feedback because I am so young and wanted to help the community.
Do you have any suggestion of signs that I can post that can emphasis myself and helping the community? How can I get people vote for me as an individual with good standards? How can I improve my voting ranking?

Keep a positive attitude, meet as many people as you can, look them in the eye and tell them how you will make your town better.
As far as your signs are concerned, make sure they are all removed as quickly as possible after the election. You will see how people will notice that you are quick to "clean up after yourself" and they will remember it, too.
A word of caution: This is your first campaign. If you do not win your seat, do not be discouraged, and do not take it too personally. Politics is a very strange and sometimes ugly business. After all, it took Abe Lincoln FOUR campaigns to win his first seat.

what you need to do is to find what is the biggest problem in the town,than think how you can salve the problem and run on that issue,and get people on your side who have your views,i my self ran for the office,and was only in the place for two month and i won,on my own merit,
good luck believe in your self and don't anyone let you down,and whatever dose not kill you will make you stronger,have that in mind and on the right way,
p.s.also do you homework on the problem and solution.
