Definitely not Israel...Their goal was to release the two soldiers and destroy Hezbollah but they achieved nothing...The soldiers are still captive(it seems that there are negotiations going on ) and Hezbollah is stronger ,now more than ever and they have more supporters...So I would say that Hezbollah won (again) this time...

The US won. This genocide was encouraged and supported by them. When the world(UN) called for a ceasefire the US insisted the war must continue. I guess there ammunition's factories had not made enough blood money. Hezbollah are opposed to the US policies hence they are labelled terrorists by the US. Terrorists do not help rebuild a nation the way Hezbollah has done and is still doing. The US has not been able to deal with them effectively and could not justify its attack on Lebanon and had its hands full with Iraq. Israel on the other hand had constant conflict with Hezbollah. Put 2 and 2 together and the rest is history. The US has not learnt its lessons. Not far in the future Israel is "going to bite the hand that feeds it" just like other regimes that the US supported. Israel lost "face" and Hezbollah gained more popularity.

The Lebanese weren't in any respect in a warfare! Hezbollah does not represent Lebanon. Hezbollah isn't any more effective than terrorist crew with diverse capacity for the era of that area. The Lebanese authorities does not help Hezbollah, nor do they want them area of their u . s . a .. Their became not in any respect a warfare. It became in basic terms straight forward struggling with, bombing, and killing of chance free civilains. Lebanon is likewise the most Western/American like u . s . a . contained in the area, it really is created from many alternative voters from us of a, France, England, etc. also they have an excellent blend of religions contained in the rustic also. there are quite some Catholics in Lebanon, alongside with many Catholic colleges. yet as I suggested till now the Lebanese weren't in any respect in a warfare with Israel, it became in basic terms struggling with between the crew Hezbollah and Israel.

It was a ploy to put NATO Troops in Lebanon and position warships in east Mediterranean sea to take care of Syria in case United States take action in Iran.So in a way Hezbollah was tricked and fooled .Hezbollah lost in long run.

Do you remember Abraham's two sons? They divided the land between them. One went to the right (it became Israel) the other
went to the left (it became the land of Arabs ) THEN THE WAR STARTED...and it has never stopped!... soon the winner will emerge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are living a life of expectation: Jesus will soon come back for his bride.
