I have a few D's and I really really need to bring them up in two weeks. Cuz If I dont have c's or better in all of my classes, I know It might sounds stupid to some poeple, but I wont get my puppy. I already met my puppy ( i've known her for 3 weeks) and named her, and to tell you the truth, my parents are cruel enough to rip her right out from under me if I dont get my grades up. Is there any easy way of doing it other than working way hard? Or am i totally screwed?

You are totally screwed.

Ask for any type of extra credit, beg to turn in any late assignments, work your *** off on any due assignments and projects, and study consistently for any tests because they are major parts of grade.

How bad do you want your puppy? OK well if you want it really bad then use that as your motivation to study. Studying only requires time, so think of every minute you spend studying will be a minute you can have with your puppy you will get for your hard work. The easiest way to pull up your grades is by doing your homework and preparing for the tests. I know you may be looking for some magic formula, but it does not exist. Trust me, I am in graduate school right now and this is my 17th year of school counting from the first grade.

I've been in similar situations before. First, if you dont understand something, ask your teacher directions in class or tutoring before/after school. If this is a homework issue (like mine was) ask if you could turn them in late for 70's (its better than nothing), then ask for extra credit. For now on, skip all activities after school that isnt productive (like watching television or being on the computer for too long). Take notes and study for about 30 minutes each night, and I promise you will make an A on your next test is you put effort into it. Cheating this will only be cheating yourself, and it will show in time when you get your grades. Good luck!

Here is a reality check. Everything in life comes at a price. For example in order to get your puppy you need to raise your grades, thats its price. What you will realise is that that is a very small price to pay for something you love, compared to how complicated things in life eventually get. Your parents want you to succeed in shool and you really need to; so they are using the puppy to motivate you, and to give you a valuable lesson in life. All you need to do is buckle down and study, the grades will come. Talk to your teacher and let her/him know that you really want to improve your grades and if they have any advice let you know. If you show your parents you are working very hard, then they wil probably even let you keep the puppy anyways regardless of your grades.

I think you're screwed at the moment , but if you really want the puppy you should start showing it....

Start actually doing your homework... not in your room but on the kitchen table in front of your parents

After that start doing chores in your house, clean your room, do the dishes, and do your bed if you are serious

If you are commited enough and your parents are nice enough, then they may give you a grace period and get the dog for you.... that is if you improve your marks.... i know there's always a catch.... well i hope that helps

The only way is to study, study, study... Pay attention in each of your classes, also another good idea is ask your teachers if there is any way you can do some extra credit to bring your grades up. You are going to need to bring in good grades here on out.

If you can show some real diligence in your last days. Sit in front of Class ask questions.

Write down the answers.

pay attention

Don't goof off

START studying for the next test now. Read write say.

If you have allot of definitions? Start writing them down over and over and over

if you would read write and say it I GUARANTEE an "A" on the text test.

See if you can get extra credit

Bust that out with good info.

Show some real diligence and I bet cha you'll get a "B" for the course.

Bet me!

Talk to your teacher...compromise with your parents...

Try this, I used it today and it worked:

If your semester grade is based on a percentage of your 1st quarter and 2nd quarter grades, ask your teacher to bump your 1st quarter grade up to the mininum C and in return, dock those percentage points 2nd quarter...You still earn the same semester grade, but in my case (for colleges) a Flat A (90%) looks a lot better than a Flat B (88%)

As a parent I have to say that you do not deserve a pet. Especially a puppy. You say you have D's and still call your parents 'cruel' if they don't give you your way. You can't understand why they would NOT give you a puppy? If you can't take responsibility for the consequences of your own screw ups then you are not even close to being ready to raise a puppy.

Buy a doll.

to improve your grades in the twoo weeks left you should concentrate not only on the exams but also on participating in class..., ok let's say the exams are important..., but by participating well in class and putting your best by listening to your professor you won't have a hard time studying your lessons and plus..., you'll get a big chance to get high marks...! Chances...., right...?
