I know this sounds freaky but I believe I have a ghost who takes things from me and my family and hides them because a few days later whatever we are looking for is out in the open right in front of our eyes in a spot we already looked for it in.

same thing happens to me all the time in my house, and around special times like christmas and birthdays it intensifies, i beleive it is someone who was close to us just letting us know they are around.

Yes, my grandmother had a house in NH, built in 1682.
My 5 yr old niece would talk to 2 people. My grandmother looked up old records and 2 people lived in that house many yrs ago with the same names my niece called them.
Her neighbor said "Of course it's haunted, everybody in town knows that. That's why it was empty for so long."
But eyeglass cases, books, small stuff would always disappear for a few days. Then appear on the couch or someplace obvious.
It never bothered any of us.

The house next door has a ghost. It just moves things around. Like the tv controllor, or the phone. Stuff like that. It flashes lights and opens kitchen drawers as well.

ghost or faries..I have had faries take stuff from me only to put it some place way different...if you ask nicely and leave them a bowl of mil and honey (as an offering) they usually will return your stuff to you quickly. I have house that is 150 years old, and the guy who died who used to own this house thinks he still does at times. There are ways to make a ghost leave..try asking, nicely but firmly, he has physically tried to lay on me before when I was in bed and I pushed him off me and told him to get out of my house and he has not returned since..it is a little unerving to feel something lay on you that you can not see, but he wanted to make his presence known....I have had many interactions with ghost and have enjoyed all of them, you can talk to them actually out loud, if they frequent your house enough, only once has one talked back to me.....

This is not at all strange, I have a ghost that was not physical last year but this year it touched my stepmom. I put it on my life that I am not lying. Not anymore. I did live in a very old place a few years ago, and that did happened quite often. We would also hear footsteps or running through the house. Creepy stuff!

When I was little we had a gentleman ghost in our house. He used to find things for me. If I lost something he would put it somewhere I was sure to find it. We used to talk all the time kinda freaked out my parents.

Whoa, that is weird. Something similar happened to my sis once...
On our way to school, I mentioned how pretty the bracelet she was wearing was...then, on the way back home she told me she had lost it somewhere in school. A couple hours later, she heard the coat hangers rattling around in the closet, and as she was running out of the room she noticed the bracelet was sitting on the dresser. o_O hmm...glad I don't live in that house anymore. :)

Yes. And he drinks all the milk and puts the empty jug in the fridge. And he leaves wet towels on the bathroom floor.

Sorry got a bit silly. I worked at a old old pub where we had a ghost but he liked to throw things. Was very creepy, once when I was leaving the kitchen a stack of plastic fry baskets sped past my head.
