It is an Armageddon-type movie....the general plot line is everyone who died at the same time the world ended was projected into the next world....and how all the individuals find each other. I thought it was called "The Good Earth", but all I can find in title searches is the Pearl S. Buck version by the same name, so I may be mistaken about the title.

I remember the people at the end not liking the world they had created.......they ended up rigging some sort of bomb to a truck and getting it to run them over to prolpel them into the next world. I the movie in the late '80's.....it's not any of the ones mentioned so far.

It's not "Left Behind", I'm sure of that. The survivors into the next world had died at the same time the world ended. It took them awhile to figure it out. I remember one guy being really angry about it because he had comitted suicide.
