Ummm... except for obesity, the world has always had those things. Actually, I'd say America is in danger of being too accepting of different viewpoints. An example would be Islam-- its own holy book gives commands to slaughter the unbelievers (that's us, BTW, people), but it is politically correct in many circles to say that we shouldn't judge Muslims because a few people commit terrible acts in that religion's name. Abortion, communism, homosexuality, witchcraft-- it's all good in America. Problem is, no matter how nicely you dress some things up, they're still wrong, still evil, still detrimental to our society and well-being. If saying that means I'm prejudiced, than heck yes, I'm prejudiced. It seems that there might come a day when I'm called prejudiced for thinking people shouldn't be allowed to eat human flesh or promote anarchy or have sexual relations with their children; I for one am planting my feet right here and refusing to slip down that slope.

Well, yes, you are. And your spelling is atrocious as well.
So I guess I'm proving one of your points -- that everyone is prejudiced about something and my particular prejudice is lazy spelling.
But about the schools -- not sure where you live, but in my country, the government is giving parents special grants and tax cuts if their children are enrolled in active sport programs and school programs are including active phys ed programs right from grade one. That sounds like a pretty good stance against child obesity to me.

Obesity is not a result of no recess, but lazy fat parents. Healthy diet and outdoor activities will produce healthier children than 20 minutes of recess.

I agree for the most part. I am predjudice to a certain extent, even though i dont want to be. I find myself saying thoughts i dont mean to think. At least im kind enough not to say them, But i always work in the food business... its frustrating.
Everyone judges everyone... they learn it as children, and are never corrected. i worked in a kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 8th grade classes. Children are cruel, no matter if you try to correct them. P.E is not a required class anymore for every shcool year. and recess is stopped normally by 6th grade. your not wronge.

Rebelling against following God's laws of righteousness, luke warm, unsalty Christians, atheism have All brought us to as you put it "drowning in sin". We seem to be in the great "falling away" from Godliness predicted for the world in the "last days". There are a lot of people claiming Christianity but many are not wholehearted about the pursuit of it, choosing to enjoy the pleasure of sin for a season. instead of "crucifying self". God says, If my people which are called by my name will humble themselves, seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, and pray, then will I hear from heaven and will heal their land."
