Try the original doom, ultimate Doom, and Doom2 .There is also Wolfenstine all 4 game's are id software and the starting point of fps game's.You can also try some of the old King's Quest game's from Sierra I could go on with the list but it would take to long to list many of them. Most of the time you can find these game's in the cheap section of game areas in store's and also try Amazon.com.Hope this helps.

PCs in the 16bit era weren't very good.

I purchased a P2 800, 64MB ram, 8MB video, just to play games like duke nukem, blood, the fortress of dr radaki, syndicate wars and a whole lot of older DOS games that wont run under XP

I run all quake games under XP. The original I had to run using a patch (Winquake), but all others run fine.

I'd like to get a 32 or 64mb video card to run some of the earlier "high end 3d" games of the early to mid 90's. 128mb ram wouldn't go astray either.
