we've only been a mainstream electronic entertainment society since the 70's, what was everyone doing for the last few thousand years?

I swear that as much as all of you might hate this answer we would do some of the following: Sports or reading, specially the video-gamers would read a lot.

Also kids would buy more comics and play more with their toys

hey dude..., did the people of the medievel years died of boredom...? for me..., having all these electronics lost will be half positive and half negative...., for the positive..., we will discover the long forgotten hobbies and reunions..., think about it...!! a new time and a new way to spend with ur friends..., think about it

It's certainly possible that a whole lot of kids would be pretty bored if this were to ever happen, but is that even probable?
