So you'd always end up 10 minutes later wearing the mask part on the top of your head and even the body of the costume was just like a plastic bag with the character printed on it lol. I had casper the ghost and my brother was The FONZ ehhhhhh lol

OMG!! I had 2 different costumes like that....the first was a Princess with said mask, yellow "royal" cape and pink skirt (totally lame) and then the 2nd was a gypsy where the mask was not only "transparent" with the tiny eye, nostril and mouth holes but it had a permanent, molded, plastic bandanna but the most god-awfully frightening painted "make-up". I cannot for the life of me remember what the rest of the costume looked like. I guess the mask was frightening enough. Thanks for the trip back in time!

My children had those when they were young. Sometimes the sides would split and the costume would be coming apart before we would get back home from Trick or Treating. They couldn't see through the eye holes on the masks.

Oh my goodness yes I remember going out as casper too and not being able to breath and your eyelashes got caught in the holes so your eyes watered..and the darn suit they made to go with the outfit never made it home in one piece either..LOL thank you for a childhood memory long forgotten

I think they still have them around.... It would have been easier to find during Halloween. Wait until next year.
