I really hope that in the seventh and last Harry Potter book, that Harry and Hermione will FINALLY get together! I mean Ron is cool
and all but, when Ron is with Hermione all they do argue. They seem to me more like brother and sister.Plus Ginny Wesley is cute for Harry, but much too young for him.

Nah, that's the only way to organize things without anyone being left out. If Harry and Hermione were together, Ron would be left out. I think Hermione and Ron are good for each other, too. He's so spazzy and she's so obsessive--they need each other. And isn't Ginny only a year younger than Harry?

Read the books. I promise, it is a LOT different. 1. They all cared for each other. Remember the troll? And the time Hermione stayed back with Ron? They're best friends, and that is so much more evident in the book. 2. Actually, in the books, Ron is willing to go up against his biggest fear (spiders) for Hermione. He missed Hermione so much. 3. She does that with Ron, too. Book 6, when he almost dies. Ron doesn't usually go to the hospital wing as much as Harry does. 4. I think that was because Ron was asleep. I think that she did wind up telling him. I don't remember when, though. 5. When did she save Harry? I don't remember... 6. Harry has the visions while he's asleep. So only Ron would be there for him. 7. This is why I didn't like the DH part 1 as much as the rest. They NEVER danced in the books. Hermione realized that she had made a commitment to Harry, and that she shouldn't back down from that. She understood that it would be hard. Again, not shown in the movies. 8. Well, Ron didn't really understand what he was doing. Remember, in the hospital wing, his first words when he was half-asleep were "Hermione...Hermione..." 9. Again, in the books, they were both screaming. 10. Again, also in the books, they have more bonding time and Harry teases Hermione much more than is shown. 11. They're best friends. What do you expect? 12. Again, they're best friends for 6 years! I think that Harry/Hermione had a brother/sister relationship. They never really liked each other, but they would gladly die for the other. Ron/Hermione was much more of the romantic.

Hermione is a great character, but as much as Harry likes and respects her I think he only sees her as a friend. She is too rigid for Harry's taste. She is highly opinionated, and doesn't hesitate to correct Harry or Ron if she thinks that they are wrong. She is usually right, but Harry has a bit of habit of breaking the rules and doesn't like to be scolded about it. They don't share common interests either; Hermione studies and reads constantly and doesn't understand or like Quiddich. When Harry and Hermione spent more time together because Ron and Harry weren't speaking to eachother (4th book), Harry was *bored* and realized how much he missed Ron. Not a good sign that he has any attraction to her at all. And even though Ron and Hermione bicker a lot, I think that they are an awful lot like Mr. and Mrs. Weasley. She is always telling him what to do and he basically does what she says most of the time. He's already said "I love you" to Hermione and she blushed! If she just thought of him as a brother she would've said something about it, but she didn't.

I think in Book 7 we'll see Ron and Hermione admit their feelings for each other. They've wasted so much time and they will realize how precious what ever time they have left is. J.K. Rowling has been hinting at this for ages, making Ron jealous about Viktor, Hermione jealous of Lavender, Ron jealous of Cormac McLeggan and the mention of Viktor being in contact with Hermione.... In an interview she made her point on this issue very plain: ES: "We thought it was clearer than ever that Harry and Ginny are an item and Ron and Hermione — although we think you made it painfully obvious in the first five books —"
JKR: [points to herself and whispers] "So do I!"
(See the link below for the full interview.)

Ginny isn't much to young for Harry, she is only one year younger. They have a lot in common too; she is funny, attractive, intelligent, kind, patient, determined, loyal, brave, and indepenent. She is confident enough to stand up to him if she disagrees, but she also respects his opinions. He admires her positive attitude, especially how she has learned from Fred and George, that almost anything is possible if you set your mind on it and you have the nerve to try. They also share a favorite hobby, the sport of Quiddich. And, Ginny is a Weasley, so if Harry marries her then it'll make him a member of the family officially. Ron has given the two of them his blessing already and Mrs. Weasley has been thinking of him as one of her own for a long time (even making him a Christmas sweater like she does for her other children and including him in her boggart) and the other Weasleys have all seemed to accept Harry quite well, with the possible exception of Percy, but then he has been proven wrong about his issues with Harry. I think that Ginny is perfect for Harry. She is an equal that he can count on to love and support him.

Harry and Hermione will only get together if J.K. Rowling kills Ron off. Then Harry and Hermione will turn to each other for comfort.

maybe, but i think that ron and hermione are cute together... i mean, yeah they argue all the time, but there is a very fine line between love and hate! and harry seems to have bigger things to deal with at the moment rather than girls...!

I think Harry admires Hermoine for who she is, but that his feelings for her are nothing but friendly. If he loved Hermoine, there would have been hints at the Yuletime Ball. It was Ron who was jealous, not Harry. To turn Harry's friendship into a relationship with Hermoine just wouldn't work.

Ron is too lame for Hermione. He's extremely immature and seems even more immature than Ginny who's a year younger than him. He constantly pouts and whines and yells. Then again J.K. Rowling isn't exactly a very good author.
